FSW

The Federal Skilled Worker (FSW) program managed under the Express Entry system is a quick and easy gateway to Canadian Permanent Residency that comes with beneficial perks. In this program, the candidates are ranked using the Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS).
Federal Skilled Workers, unlike Canadian Experience Class (CEC) candidates, are not required to have Canadian work experience in order to be considered for the Express Entry pool. Candidates must instead achieve a minimum threshold of 67 points out of 100 based on work experience, level of education, age, proof of funds, adaptability, whether you have a job offer or not, and English or French language proficiency. Applicants with the highest CRS scores will be invited to apply for permanent residency in Canada once they have been accepted into the pool.

Work Experience:
You can earn points for the number of years you’ve worked  in 1 of these National Occupational Classification (NOC) TEER categories:
● TEER 0
● TEER 1
● TEER 2
● TEER 3
of the 2022 National Occupational Classification, undertaking full-time paid work (at least 30 hours per week) or part-time employment (at least 15 hours per week for 24 months). Your work experience would count for selection factor points if it occurred in Canada or overseas while you were studying or while you were self-employed.

Language Proficiency:
Being able to communicate in one or both of Canada’s official languages is essential. Your language skills in English and French can get you up to 28 points. In each of the four language regions, you must achieve a minimum CLB 7 or NCLC 7 level in one official language. To get points for the second official language, you must achieve a CLB 5 or NCLC 5 in each of the four language areas. POINTS CHART

Arranged employment in Canada (maximum 10 points):
This factor can get you a maximum of 10 points. If you have a job offer from a Canadian firm for at least one year, you can earn points. Before you seek to come to Canada as a Federal Skilled Worker, you must first have a job offer. A valid job offer must be for at least one year of continuous, paid, full-time work (minimum of 30 hours per week) in an occupation listed in  National Occupational Classification (NOC) TEER categories 0,1,2,3. IRCC must be confident that you are capable of  performing the job provided to you, and that you will be able to obtain a licence or certification while in Canada (if the occupation is regulated in Canada) One of these scenarios must also apply to receive 10 points for a valid employment offer.

Adaptability:
Lastly, the Adaptability factor can get you a maximum of 10 points. Adaptability points can be earned by you and your spouse or common-law partner who will immigrate to Canada with you. By combining any of the criteria below, you and your spouse can score a maximum of 10 points. These factors determine how well you and your partner will fit in in Canada.

Residence in Canada:
